Monthly Update...
I'm trying to update our blog at least once a month this year. Because I've missed a lot of time I'm going to overview the rest of our lives really quickly...
We have had a lot of fun lately, We got to attend the Utah Symphony with a Van Cliburn Medalist playing Rachmaninoff's 3rd piano concerto. AWESOME! If you ever get the chance to see this preformed you must go! Rick and I have been raving about it for weeks. It was spectacular.
On the less exciting side. We're getting new windows, we're putting in a new fireplace mantle and doing the customization ourselves. We spent a week with little seen family in town and Loved it. (Amanda and Mike we already miss your family.) Rick is working the crazy "busy season" schedule. Clare is healthy but still not gaining weight like she should. "Ugh!"
Magical Age of Children
Have you eve watch a young child while they watch a movie or cartoon and you can tell they not only love it but think it's real? The most fun we've had this month though, (besides a week with Aunt Amanda and Clare's cousins) was at Disney on Ice. Clare absolutely loved it and Rick and I loved watch her get into it and enjoy it.
When the characters would skate out waving she would wave back to them and tell us who they were. She dance to the music and it was just a wonderful time for her and us. It's a magical age, she doesn't know the difference between real and imaginary. It was just wonderful. She got to wear her Snow White dress and see the other princess dresses on display. It's truly wonderful to watch your child enjoying something to it's fullest.
